3 storey 19th Century lock keepers cottage with 3 themed floors making it suitable to use as an outstanding location for filming and photo shoots. The exterior of the building preserves the aesthetics of a vintage cottage where possible.
large cavernous elegant room consisting of a large dance floor, cove and large study bar area creating a truly spectacular space and the jewel in the crown of our much loved cottage.
The Reception and Parlour room are in the middle of the cottage, the heart of our 19th Century cottage and most rustic of our areas, the informal décor of oak barrels, mahogany stools and wooden bar makes the Reception our regular’s favourite haunt as with the Parlour room filled with gilded oil paintings and private balcony offering views of the canal.
Finally the Lounge and Terrace basement level consists of church pews to high wing back armchairs, ornate wooden coffee tables, traditional fireplace and gilded framed oil paintings the Lounge has a home from home comfort with a relaxed aura. Double doors lead out from the Lounge to a canal side terrace abundant with scaffolding plank tables, barrel stools, barbeque facilities all situated under a retractable awning enabling all year round access.

From the front exterior this film location looks like a small humble cottage sat happily on a cobbled street next to a large viaduct, from the rear you truly can see all three floors of the venue and its elegant position sat on the canal, beside a Lock.
