Set in the beautiful West Sussex countryside Tudor Nobleman's Historic House and Ancient Monument offers a unique window into England's tumultuous past.From the inspiring causeway approach, eerie cellars, and the towering ruins of The Great Hall and Chapel vaulted with elaborate windows, the building casts an enticing historical shadow over its surrounding countryside.Despite being partially ruined by fire in 1793, the House still contains a complete working Tudor kitchen. Untouched by modernity, this kitchen is truly authentic to the period and is itself in demand as an educational and filming location.The site also contains a large heated meeting room and space for unit vehicles which can be made available on request, subject to availability.Local parking and toilet facilities are also available nearby at the Tourist Information Centre.Conditions of FilmingEach filming, photographic, or broadcast request will be considered on an individual basis by our team.Filming and photography within the monument will be restricted during peak season opening hours i.e. 10.30am to 5pm Sunday to Thursday from 20th March to 30th October.UKFilmLocation.com standard conditions of use apply:Public Liability Insurance is required, location fee paid prior to filming, and a contract must be signed prior to crews arriving on site.
