The main house is a family home and creative residency space. A Victorian Mansion, with many original features including high ceilings, fireplaces, spacious hallways, and large bay windows in each room. The house has belonged to an Indian family since 1987 and the traditional country style has been mixed with Indian furniture and style including a bespoke dining table and indoor swing.
The house has eight bedrooms, four reception rooms (including a double drawing room), and a large kitchen.
Most rooms are spacious allowing for a crew to easily fit into the space. The house is not in pristine condition, in some rooms wall paper is coming off the walls and bare plaster is evident. The house is in the midst of slowly being re-decorated, room by room, which makes it a perfect filming location as there is flexibility in what can be done with each room.
