Sociable spaces; a rich array of reception rooms to spread out and relax in; sumptuously furnished with real flair and meticulous attention to detail springs to mind, the large drawing room admires the magnificent views as does every room throughout the property this room is sophisticatedly themed and designed for total relaxation by the large wood burning fire; the cinema room is a place to completely unwind watching your favourite movie or Sky Sports or whatever you prefer with simply eclectic designer furnishings and mood lighting all controlled by iPad simple yet ingenious technology – all mod cons are provided with Wi-Fi throughout and an integrated music system – more bliss. There are various other intimate sociable spots throughout with sliding full height glass doors afford access to the sophisticated kitchen / dining area, walls of glass gaze out and lead to a glazed terrace, this is indeed a spectacular space.
Spa &; Wellness Sanctuary; soothing luxury, maybe between 4pm and 6pm with a G&;T from your bar, a while to ponder life in the external hot tub admiring the ever changing vistas, possibly a spot of yoga on the infinity balcony / terrace and some more time to reflect in the holistic laconium, by 6 you will be ready for the night ahead! There is a stone monsoon facility on this level to freshen up when the mood takes.
Bedroom suites and bathrooms; there are two elegant bespoke staircases to the first floor with 5 luxury bedroom suites and 1 further bedroom suite on the ground level; each unique and individually themed with glorious views. Luxury handcrafted 'And So To Bed' furnishings further complemented with ViSpring Elite comforts ensure our last statement and each unique room is individually named; there are two super king size; 3 king size and one double. Each room has the most luxurious of bathrooms, either stone or porcelain and each individually designed, some with glorious designer baths overlooking the lake, all with a mix of monsoon & amp; raindrop shower facilities and one even has a bathroom TV!
The Spa facility also has a luxury wet room facility and there is a cloakroom / 8th WC / wash basin on the ground level off the 'Mud Room'.

approached via a long sweeping driveway surrounded by ½ mile of lake frontage in 27 ½ acres of private grounds, circumscribed by open Lakeland countryside backing onto Hallin Fell, a security entry gated system leads you to the property with terraced driveway parking directly outside the property plus ample further parking adjacent. A helicopter landing co-ordinates; wander to the shoreline with boathouse and private jetty ideal for shoots involving boats.
There are infinity terraces overlooking the lake together with external hot tub on a costal themed private balcony terrace. A fully equipped barbeque terrace complete with washing facilities, externally stored crockery etc. – bliss. Bike and canoe storage facilities. The peaceful and majestic waterfront location means that the only disturbance at your otherwise idyllic sanctuary will be hearing the ducks land upon the water, and the gentle tinkling of boat masts in summertime.
The most popular pastime whilst at the property is simply gazing out across the lake at the stunning Lakeland scenery, as William Wordsworth may have once done while composing the famous romantic poem, Daffodils. You might also like to stroll through the beautiful Lake District countryside that inspired Beatrix Potter to write her children's books.
The propery boats a private jetty and boathouse and there are 27 1/2 acres of gardens and grounds with half a mile of lake shore where you may wander at leisure.Ullwater is the second largest lake in the English Lake District and is widely thought to be the most picturesque, being ideal for a self-catering Lake District holiday. Travelling from the central Lakes over the stunning Kirkstone Pass you will drop down into the beautiful glacial carved landscapes surrounding the Lake itself, with many quaint villages along its shore line. The areas around the lake provide the perfect place for a restful and relaxed self-catering holiday, with plenty of opportunity for walking, exploring and getting out on the Lake.
